I believe that we have decided on the major outlines of our lives in advance. However, we all have free will, and in this human experience we are able to change the direction of our lives if we wish. There are, of course, many perspectives on this topic \u2014 here is mine.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This belief would mean that we have chosen our family members and our family even before our physical birth. Along with our family members come the lessons we are meant to learn. At this point, many of us \u2014 myself included \u2014 surely wonder, why on earth would I have chosen this? Many of us have had a traumatic childhood or other painful chapters in life \u2014 why would we have wanted to choose such things?<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As clich\u00e9 as it sounds, time reveals the bigger picture \u2014 in everything. When I was younger, I was very angry at the Universe. I was angry about why I had been given so much trauma to carry. Over time, and through deep processing of those experiences, I began to see things quite differently. It started to make sense why I was given these challenges so early in life. Without them, I probably wouldn\u2019t have found myself so firmly on the spiritual path I now walk \u2014 and at quite a young age. Of course, I could have found this path later through other means, but I believe it was meant to happen this way. Everything I\u2019ve experienced has prepared me for this moment. After all I\u2019ve been through, I can now stand with my feet firmly on the ground and my head in the clouds \u2014 in the company of my Angels.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We are all given free will as a birthright. We have the freedom to make our own choices in this life, even against what we may have chosen beforehand. For example, perhaps a difficult relationship with a father was consciously chosen, but maybe the father used his own free will and acted in a harsher way than was intended. Perhaps a loved one\u2019s addiction spiraled out of control, and it was never meant to take them to the grave so young. Life contains so many uncertainties and variables when everyone\u2019s free will is at play. Those who face death and suffering every day. Those whose families endure unbearable losses. It can be hard to understand why anyone would choose to be born into such reality. At times, this even shakes my own faith in the idea that everything has a greater purpose. Yet, it is valuable to see that love and light can be brought into the world under any circumstances, and that this can give life a meaning.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I have heard from various mediums that souls who have already left this world have communicated that they did not realize how difficult the human experience could be. A situation chosen on a soul level may have appeared very different from that perspective. And when the soul descends into this earthly reality, with its physical pain and suffering, the experience can be very different \u2014 and sometimes too heavy to bear. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Amid all the confusion of life, I have found comfort in the understanding that, as a Soul, I have indeed made some of these choices myself. Knowing that my life has a greater purpose \u2014 as all our lives do. I believe we did not come here aimlessly just to suffer, even if it sometimes feels that way.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">One perspective on this is karma. In many beliefs and religions, it is thought that we gather both good and bad karma over the course of life. This karma then shapes our next round of existence. Some believe that if you create enough harm in your current life, you may then have to make amends for that karma in your next life, perhaps in very challenging circumstances. The belief works the other way too, in a positive direction. Of course, all of this is still human interpretation \u2014 or knowledge, depending on how one sees it. Perhaps it all weaves together into one full circle.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I also want to bring up another perspective \u2014 there may be many Souls waiting for their turn to descend to Earth. Souls who deeply wish to experience this human life in a physical body, but have not been given the opportunity. Every day here on Earth is a gift given to us. <i>Every day is a blessing, even if it doesn\u2019t always feel like it \u2014 remembering this will hopefully bring some comfort to life. &lt;3<\/i><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sieluna valittu el\u00e4m\u00e4 Uskon, ett\u00e4 olemme itse valinneet sieluna t\u00e4m\u00e4n el\u00e4m\u00e4n, miss\u00e4 el\u00e4mme.
